Worth Noting: Sacramento lost a game on Friday that had been suspended from the previous night. Right-hander Brad Peacock started the game on Thursday and allowed 2 runs and struck out 5 over 3 innings of work. Left-hander Fabio Castro picked up where Peacock left off on Friday and allowed 3 runs, 2 earned, over 2 innings to earn his 6th loss. And after coming in to take over for Castro, right-hander Fautino De Los Santos gave up 5 runs in 1 inning to raise his ERA with Sacramento to 7.11.

Worth Noting: Starter A.J. Griffin turned in another strong outing for the River Cats, giving up 2 unearned runs on just 3 hits while walking none and striking out 8 over 7 innings to earn the win. Third baseman Stephen Parker tripled and drove in 4 runs in the win.

Worth Noting: Starter Sonny Gray allowed 6 runs on 7 hits over just 2 2/3 innings to run his record on the season to 1-5. Third baseman Leonardo Gil had 2 hits and drove in 2 runs for the RockHounds in the loss.

Worth Noting: Starter Sean Murphy delivered another impressive outing for Stocktonon Friday, walking 1 and striking out 10 in 6 1/3 scoreless innings to earn his 3rd win with the Ports. Designated hitter Miles Head blasted a 2-run homer in the 1st inning to give the Ports the lead, which they never relinquished.

Worth Noting: Starter Raul Alcantara gave up 2 runs in the 1st inning and then proceeded to toss 5 shutout innings for Burlington on Friday. Unfortunately, the Bees’ sluggish offense could only muster 4 hits on the night, and the team has only managed to collect 10 hits over its last 2 games
