LHP Tyler Alexander turned in his best start of the season to help Las Vegas complete its four-game sweep of Memphis on Tuesday. Alexander threw 6 shutout innings to earn his 4th win for the Aviators, and the 27-year-old has now allowed just 1 earned run in 17 innings of work over his last 3 starts for Las Vegas. Third baseman Sheldon Neuse collected 4 hits, including a double, drew a walk and drove in a pair of runs, while left fielder Nick Martini had 3 hits, walked twice and scored 4 runs. Right fielder Dustin Fowler singled, walked, drove in a run with a sacrifice fly and then slugged a grand slam in the 9th inning, while first baseman Corban Joseph singled twice, walked twice and drove in a pair, and shortstop Franklin Barreto had a pair of hits, including a double, and drove in a run for Vegas in the victory.

Third baseman Edwin Diaz singled, doubled and drove in 3 runs, while first baseman Chase Calabuig had a pair of hits, drew a walk, drove in a run and stole a base, and designated hitter Luis Barrera singled twice and scored a run for the RockHounds. Starter Daulton Jefferies allowed 1 run and struck out 4 over 3 innings of work, while his tandem-pitching partner, RHP Grant Holmes, gave up 1 run on 4 hits over 3 frames to earn the win, and RHP Angel Duno tossed 1 2/3 scoreless innings in relief to record the save for the RockHounds.

Vermont notched its fourth victory in its first five games of the season on Tuesday. 18-year-old Colombian third baseman Jordan Diaz belted his team-leading 2nd home run, a two-run blast, while second baseman Nick Ward slugged a solo shot, and 18-year-old right fielder Danny Bautista had 3 hits, including a triple, and scored twice for the Lake Monsters. 22-year-old Dominican RHP Rafael Kelly made the start and allowed 3 runs over 5 innings of work to pick up the win, while 23-year-old Cuban LHP Yorlenis Noa struck out 5 over 4 scoreless frames in relief to notch his 1st save for Vermont.

Snappers RHP Eric Marinez struck out the side in order in the bottom of the 8th inning in the Midwest League All-Star Game on Tuesday. Stockton RHP Brady Feigl tossed a scoreless inning in relief, while outfielder Jameson Hannah tripled, drew a walk and drove in 3 runs, first baseman Alfonso Rivas singled and walked, and outfielder Lazaro Armenteros singled, walked and scored twice in the California League All-Star Game on Tuesday.
