(November 12 – 15)

Monday, November 12th:
Right fielder Skye Bolt went 1 for 3 with a walk, while RHP Calvin Coker tossed 2/3 of a scoreless inning in relief, and RHP Sam Sheehan allowed 2 runs in 1 inning to suffer the loss as Mesa lost 4-2 on Monday.

Tuesday, November 13th:
Right fielder Luis Barrera went 1 for 4 with a triple, while RHP Jake Bray allowed 3 runs, 2 earned, in 1 inning of relief as Mesa lost 14-3 on Tuesday.

Wednesday, November 14th:
Center fielder Skye Bolt went 1 for 5, stole a base and drove in a run, while RHP Angel Duno allowed 1 run in 1 inning of relief as Mesa won 10-6 on Wednesday.

Thursday, November 15th:
Right fielder Skye Bolt went 2 for 2 with 2 doubles, 3 walks, 2 RBIs and a stolen base, while RHP Sam Sheehan pitched 1 perfect inning, and RHP Calvin Coker allowed 5 unearned runs in 1 inning of relief as Mesa won its final game in a walk-off by a score of 11-10 on Thursday.

In Other News…
The A’s have recently signed LHP Kyle Lobstein, RHP Jake Buchanan, RHP Brian Schlitter, RHP Trey McNutt and first baseman Eric Campbell to minor league contracts and have re-signed catcher Beau Taylor and LHP Dean Kiekhefer to minor league deals. All have received invitations to major league spring training. Taylor is likely to back up the team’s top catching prospect, Sean Murphy, at Triple-A Las Vegas, while Lobstein and Buchanan are expected to serve in the Triple-A starting rotation, and Schlitter, who was Triple-A Oklahoma City’s closer last season, could serve in a similar role for Las Vegas this season.
