A’s Prospect AFL Highlights
(October 22 – 27)
Monday, October 22nd:
Shortstop Eli White went 1 for 4 and drove in 2 runs, while right fielder Skye Bolt went 0 for 3 with a walk and a stolen base, and left fielder Luis Barrera went 0 for 3. RHP Jake Bray allowed 1 run in 1 inning and notched the save in Mesa’s 2-1 win on Monday.
Tuesday, October 23rd:
RHP Angel Duno threw 1 scoreless inning in relief, while RHPs Calvin Coker and Sam Sheehan each tossed 2 scoreless innings and struck out 4 as Mesa lost 2-1 in 10 innings on Tuesday.
Wednesday, October 24th:
Right fielder Skye Bolt went 1 for 4 with a double, while designated hitter Eli White went 0 for 4 and drove in a run on a groundout, and center fielder Luis Barrera went 0 for 4 and struck out twice as Mesa won 4-3 on Wednesday.
Thursday, October 25th:
Right fielder Luis Barrera went 0 for 4 and drove in a run on a groundout as Mesa lost 4-3 on Thursday.
Friday, October 26th:
Center fielder Eli White went 1 for 5 and stole a base, while right fielder Skye Bolt went 0 for 5 with a walk. RHP Jake Bray pitched 1 1/3 perfect innings in relief, and RHP Calvin Coker gave up 1 run in 1 2/3 innings to suffer the loss as Mesa lost 9-8 in 11 innings on Friday.
Saturday, October 27th:
Shortstop Eli White went 3 for 4 and drove in a run with a sacrifice fly, while right fielder Luis Barrera went 3 for 5, stole a base and drove in 2 runs, and RHP Sam Sheehan hit 2 batters and was charged with 2 runs in 1 2/3 innings of relief as Mesa lost 7-6 on Saturday.
Sunday, October 28th:
