First baseman Seth Brown helped lead the RockHounds to their third win in their last four games on Sunday. With the game tied in the bottom of the 3rd inning, Brown belted a three-run homer to give the RockHounds a lead they would never relinquish. Brown also singled in a run in the 4th and drew a pair of walks in the game, while designated hitter Skye Bolt singled, doubled and walked, and right fielder J.P. Sportman had 2 hits, including a double, and drove in a run for the RockHounds. RHP James Naile allowed 4 runs over 8 innings of work to earn the win in his first start since his return to the RockHounds.

The Sounds snapped their four-game losing streak on Sunday. Third baseman Sheldon Neuse homered in the 2nd inning and then singled in the tying run in the bottom of the 4th. Second baseman Franklin Barreto belted his 15th home run, while designated hitter Anthony Garcia doubled twice and scored twice, and catcher Beau Taylor singled in the winning run with two outs in the bottom of the 8th for the Sounds. Starter Frankie Montas allowed 4 runs over 5 frames, while RHP Raul Alcantara tossed a scoreless top of the 8th to pick up his 5th win, and RHP Liam Hendriks got the final three outs in the 9th to notch his 5th save for Nashville.

RHP Kyle Friedrichs turned in a strong start to help Stockton snap its three-game losing streak on Sunday. Friedrichs allowed just 1 run over 7 innings of work to earn his 2nd win for Stockton. First baseman Viosergy Rosa ripped a two-run homer and doubled in a run, while designated hitter Greg Deichmann drilled a two-run homer and singled in a run, and shortstop Edwin Diaz singled, doubled and drove in a run for the Ports.

Beloit was bested by Burlington in extra innings of Sunday. Right fielder Jack Meggs had 2 hits, including a double, and drove in a run, while shortstop Nick Allen singled, doubled and scored a run. Designated hitter Logan Farrar singled twice and walked, and third baseman Miguel Mercedes doubled in a pair for the Snappers.
