When play resumed on Thursday, LHP Felix Doubront took over on the mound and ended up surrendering the winning run in the bottom of the 9th to take the loss as the Dodgers won in a walk-off. With catcher Stephen Vogt designated for assignment and third baseman Matt Chapman placed on the disabled list by Oakland on Thursday, the A’s recalled catcher Bruce Maxwell and first baseman Matt Olson from Nashville, and outfielder Kenny Wilson was reassigned to the Sounds from the RockHounds.
