Gossett turned in one of his best starts since joining the Hounds, allowing 2 earned runs on 5 hits while walking just 1 and striking out 6 over 7 1/3 innings to earn his 1st win with Midland. He was also charged with a pair of unearned runs after departing the game with two outs in the bottom of the 8th, and RHP Jake Sanchez got the final three outs in the 9th to notch his 5th save. Right fielder Tyler Marincov collected 4 hits, including a home run, and drove in 2 runs, while designated hitter Carson Blair singled, homered and drove in a pair, and third baseman Matt Chapman tagged a 2-run homer to help the Hounds win their third straight on Friday.
