RHP Dylan Covey delivered one of his best starts this season for the RockHounds, allowing just 1 run while striking out 7 over 7 2/3 innings to earn his 2nd win and lower his ERA to a paltry 1.91. RHP Aaron Kurcz got the final four outs to post his 3rd save for Midland. First baseman Ryon Healy hit his 6th home run, a 2-run shot, in the 1st inning to give the Hounds an early lead, while catcher Andy Paz singled in a run in the 7th, and left fielder Danny Oh had a pair of hits and scored a run for the RockHounds.
