RHP Parker Frazier, recently acquired from the Arizona organization, led the RockHounds’ shutout of San Antonio on Friday. Frazier scattered 7 hits over 6 2/3 shutout innings to earn his 1st win for Midland. Relievers Omar Duran, Tucker Healy and Ryan Dull combined to throw 2 1/3 scoreless innings in relief, with Dull earning his 11th save for the Hounds. Right fielder Matt Olson singled, doubled and drove in his 40th run of the season for the RockHounds.

RHP Zach Neal made his third straight quality start for the Sounds on Friday, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits over 7 innings of work, but he left with the game a 2-2 tie. RHP R.J. Alvarez tossed a scoreless top of the 8th, and left fielder Ryan Roberts homered in the bottom of the 8th to give the Sounds a 1-run lead. RHP Arnold Leon gave up a run in the top of the 9th to tie the game again but still ended up picking up the win when Nashville came back to win in a walk-off on a error-aided play in the bottom of the 9th. Designated hitter Dayan Viciedo singled in a run in the bottom of the 6th for the Sounds.

Starter Chris Lamb allowed 3 runs over just 2 1/3 innings to take the loss in his return to Stockton, while RHP Lou Trivino followed with 3 2/3 scoreless innings in relief. The Ports were shut out on just 5 hits on Friday, with first baseman John Nogowski reaching base twice, on a single and a walk.

The Snappers scored 10 runs on 14 hits to best Peoria on Friday. Outfielder Max Kuhn doubled, hit a 2-run homer and scored twice, while catcher Argenis Raga and second baseman Tim Proudfoot each had 2 hits and drove in a pair for the Snappers. Starter Junior Mendez allowed 2 runs, just 1 earned, over 5 innings of work to earn his 3rd win, while LHPs Cody Stull and Mike Fagan both tossed 2 scoreless innings in relief for Beloit.

RHP Kyle Friedrichs allowed 3 runs, 2 earned, in 3 innings of work to take his 1st loss, while LHP Kevin Ferreras followed with 3 scoreless frames, and LHP Tyler Painton gave up 5 runs in just 1 inning of relief on Friday. Third baseman Gabriel Santana homered in the 5th inning to bring Vermont with a run, while catcher Nick Collins had 2 hits and drove in a run in the loss.
