RHP Zach Neal turned in another strong start on Saturday, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits over 8 innings of work to earn his 5th win in 5 starts for the Sounds. RHP Ryan Cook picked up his 5th save despite putting two runners on in the bottom of the 9th. First baseman Anthony Aliotti went 4 for 4 and singled in the tying run in the top of the 9th, while Craig Gentry was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to bring home the winning run for Nashville. Gentry also singled and scored in the 1st on an RBI single by designated hitter Nate Freiman, who had a pair of hits for the Sounds.

The Hounds were shut out on 6 hits on Saturday. Third baseman Ryon Healy had 3 hits, including a double, while left fielder Jaycob Brugman collected his 6th triple, and right fielder Josh Whitaker and designated hitter Renato Nunez both doubled for Midland. Starter Chris Lamb had another rough outing, allowing 8 runs over 5 innings of work to take his 5th loss, while RHP Jonathan Joseph tossed 3 scoreless innings in relief for the RockHounds.

The Ports exploded for 13 runs on the way to posting their fifth straight win on Saturday. Outfielder B.J. Boyd had 2 triples and drove in a pair of runs, while third baseman Matt Chapman smacked a 2 run-homer, his 8th on the season and his 5th in his last 6 games. Second baseman Branden Cogswell singled, doubled, walked and drove in 3, and outfielders Brett Vertigan and Tyler Marincov both reached base 4 times, with each posting a pair of hits and a pair of walks for the Ports. Starter Joel Seddon allowed 2 runs over 5 innings of work to earn his 3rd win, while relievers Ben Bracewell, Sam Roberts and Omar Duran combined to throw 4 scoreless innings of relief for Stockton. While Bracewell was activated from the disabled list before the game, RHP Trevor Bayless was placed on the disabled list and outfielder Justin Higley was reassigned to the Snappers. Meanwhile, A.J. Griffin is scheduled to make his second rehab appearance for Stockton on Sunday.

With one out, the bases loaded and his team down by a run in the bottom of the 6th, outfielder Joe Bennie stroked a single to drive in 2 runs and give the Snappers a 1-run lead on Saturday. Bennie also doubled with one out in the 2nd but was left stranded, while outfielder Robert Martinez smacked his 3rd home run to put Beloit on the board in the bottom of the 5th. Starter Daniel Gossett had a solid outing for the Snappers, allowing 2 runs and striking out 5 over 5 innings of work, while RHP Koby Gauna tossed 2 scoreless innings in relief. But LHP Cody Stull allowed 1 unearned run with the help of a fielding error by first baseman Sandber Pimentel to tie the game in the top of the 9th, and RHP Rob Huber gave up 3 runs in the top of the 10th to take his 3rd loss for the Snappers.
