After scoring a total of just 5 runs in their last 4 games, the Snappers exploded for 10 runs on Tuesday. But the best performance of the day may have belonged to last year’s 3rd-round draft pick for the A’s, RHP Brett Graves, who allowed just 1 run on 3 hits for the second straight outing to earn his 2nd win and snap Quad Cities’ 12-game winning streak. LHP Cody Stull gave up 3 runs, 2 earned, in 2 innings of relief, while RHP Corey Miller tossed 2 scoreless frames to close out the win for the Snappers. Shortstop Yairo Munoz had 4 hits, including a pair of triples, while right fielder Robert Martinez singled and hit a 2-run homer, and third baseman Jose Brizuela hit his 1st home run, a solo shot. Left fielder Joe Bennie singled, doubled, walked and drove in a run, and center fielder James Harris and second baseman Edwin Diaz both drove in a pair for Beloit.
