The A’s have now signed 7 of the team’s top 10 picks in this year’s draft, with #3 RHP Brett Graves, #5 RHP Heath Fillmyer and #7 SS Branden Cogswell the only remaining unsigned top 10 picks for the A’s. Chapman took batting practice at the Coliseum on Monday and launched a few balls over the outfield fence. He also announced that he would be heading to the A’s training facility in Phoenix for a few days before beginning his season with Beloit in the Midwest League next week.
