Designated hitter Ryon Healy had 2 doubles and drove in the first and last runs for the Ports on Tuesday night. After getting off to a slow start this season, Healy is hitting .382 over his last 8 games. Second baseman Chad Pinder singled, doubled and scored a run, while outfielder Dusty Robinson doubled and drove in a pair for the Ports. Starter Hunter Adkins allowed 2 runs over 5 innings of work, while LHP Jeremy Barfield gave up 1 run in 3 innings of relief to pick up his 3rd win, and RHP Austin House got the final 3 outs for his 5th save.

Pitcher Josh Lindblom

Starter Josh Lindblom turned in an impressive effort in his return from the disabled list, allowing just 1 run on 3 hits and striking out 6 over 5 innings of work, while RHP Deryk Hooker gave up 2 runs, 1 earned, in 1 1/3 innings of relief to take the loss on Tuesday night. Shortstop Andy Parrino and second baseman Tyler Ladendorf had a pair of hits apiece and each drove in a run, while outfielder Nick Buss had 2 hits, stole a base and scored twice, and first baseman Daric Barton went 0 for 3 with a walk in his first game back with the River Cats. And with Barton’s and Lindblom’s return, RHP Zach Neal was reassigned to Stockton and catcher Phil Pohl was sent back to Beloit.

RHP Lou Trivino turned in another solid start for the Snappers on Tuesday, allowing just 1 run on 4 hits over 6 innings of work, but RHP Blake McMullen ended up taking the loss after giving up 2 runs in 1 2/3 innings of relief in just his second appearance since joining Beloit’s bullpen. Outfielder Jaycob Brugman doubled, catcher Jose Chavez drove in a run, and first baseman B.A. Vollmuth had a pair of hits for the Snappers. Meanwhile, RHP Stuart Pudenz was placed on the disabled list with a concussion, while LHP Matt Stalcup was activated from the DL, and catcher Phil Pohl was reassigned to Beloit from Sacramento.
