RHP Zach Neal turned in a strong start for Sacramento on Monday, allowing 1 run on just 5 hits while striking out 8 over 8 innings of work, but he still left the game with his team down by a run headed into the 9th. Outfielder Michael Taylor singled in second baseman Tyler Ladendorf in the bottom of the 9th to tie the game, and then third baseman Alden Carrithers doubled home Ladendorf in the bottom of the 10th to give the Cats the walk-off win on Monday. RHP Jeremy McBryde picked up his 1st win after pitching a scoreless 9th and 10th for Sacramento.

RHP Chris Jensen had his shakiest start yet for Midland on Monday, allowing 4 runs on 9 hits over 6 innings of work, while RHP Ryan Doolittle gave up 2 runs in 1 2/3 innings of relief to take the loss. Outfielder Conner Crumbliss tripled, doubled, stole a base and drove in a pair of runs, including the tying run in the top of the 7th, while shortstop Dusty Coleman slugged his 4th home run for the Hounds. Second baseman Colin Walsh has now reached base in all 13 of his games since joining the RockHounds, but designated hitter Jefry Marte had his hitting streak snapped at 14 games on Monday.

RHP Josh Bowman had another rough start for Stockton on Monday, allowing 5 runs on 7 hits while walking 6 in 5 2/3 innings of work to take his 3rd loss. Designated hitter Bobby Crocker singled, doubled, walked and stole a base, while shortstop Chad Pinder doubled and drove in a run, and first baseman Matt Olson and outfielder Dusty Robinson had a pair of hits apiece for the Ports. Meanwhile, RHP Tyler Hollstegge was added to Stockton’s pitching staff from extended spring training and RHP Michael Ynoa is expected to be activated from the disabled list on Tuesday.
