With the game tied in the bottom of the 9th, first baseman Anthony Aliotti led off the inning with a home run over the left field wall to provide the walk-off win for the River Cats on Wednesday. Aliotti also drove in the tying run with a sacrifice fly in the 6th. Starter Arnold Leon allowed 3 runs on 8 hits over 5 2/3 innings, while RHP Brian Gordon tossed a scoreless 9th to pick up the win. In other news, RHP Pat Neshek cleared waivers and was assigned to Sacramento.

With the game tied in the bottom of the 13th inning, shortstop Tyler Ladendorf singled in the game-winning run for the RockHounds on Wednesday. It was his 3rd hit of the game, while third baseman Jefry Marte singled, tripled and scored the winning run, and outfielder D’Arby Myers singled to extend his hitting streak to 31 straight games. Starter Drew Granier allowed 2 runs and struck out 5 over 6 2/3 innings, while LHP Pedro Viola got the last 2 outs in the top of the 13th to pick up the win.

Stockton starter Tanner Peters had a perfect game through 4, a no-hitter through 5 and a shutout through 7 on Wednesday. He eventually surrendered a pair of home runs in the 8th before being pulled but still picked up his 12th win. RHP Michael Ynoa returned after missing almost 4 weeks with a sore shoulder and tossed a scoreless 9th to pick up his first save for the Ports. Designated hitter Phil Pohl hit a 2-run homer, while first baseman Tony Thompson had 2 hits and drove in a pair of runs, and shortstop Addison Russell walked 4 times, stole 3 bases and scored twice in the win. Meanwhile, the A’s optioned LHP Tommy Milone to Stockton, but he’s not expected to make a start before being recalled after the end of the Ports’ season.

RHP Deyvi Jimenez had a solid start for the Snappers, allowing just 2 runs on 5 hits over 6 innings of work, but he still ended up taking the loss on Wednesday. Outfielder Ryan Mathews hit his 14th home run to provide the Snappers’ only run of the game.

Starter Lou Trivino had a strong outing on Wednesday, allowing just 2 hits and striking out 5 over 5 innings of work, but RHP Joe Michaud gave up 3 runs, 2 earned, in 2 2/3 innings of relief to take the loss in his debut for Vermont. First baseman Ryon Healy doubled in both the Lake Monsters’ runs on Wednesday, while the A’s top draft pick this year, outfielder Billy McKinney, went 1 for 4 in his first game for the Lake Monsters.

Starter Carlos Navas gave up 3 runs on 5 hits over 5 innings of work, while the A’s 9th overall pick, RHP Dustin Driver, tossed 2 scoreless innings in relief, and the team’s 5th overall pick, LHP Chris Kohler, allowed 2 unearned runs in the 8th to take the loss on Wednesday. Outfielder Justin Higley singled, homered and drove in a pair of runs for the A’s.
