Designated hitter Hiro Nakajima doubled in a run, while outfielder Michael Choice singled in a run and walked twice, and second baseman Jemile Weeks doubled and scored a run for the River Cats.

sfph_571676cPreliminary rosters were released Tuesday for the Arizona Fall League, the six-week circuit featuring many of baseball’s top prospects that transpires every year from early-October through mid-November. From the A’s, three position players and four pitchers will be taking part – shortstop Addison Russell, first baseman Max Muncy and catcher David Freitas, along with LHPs Jeff Urlaub and Omar Duran and RHPs Ryan Dull and Seth Frankoff. Contributing A’s Farm blogger Frankoff is also this year’s recipient of the Dallas Braden Community Service Award from the Stockton Ports.
