RHP Travis Banwart had a solid start for Sacramento on Sunday, allowing 2 runs and striking out 4 over 6 innings to earn his 8th win, while RHP Brian Gordon got the final 3 outs for his 15th save. First baseman Anthony Aliotti had 3 hits, including a double, and drove in a run for the River Cats.

RHP Drew Granier had his second straight rough start on Sunday, allowing 5 runs on 9 hits over just 2 2/3 innings of work, while LHP Frank Gailey picked up the win with 2 scoreless innings in relief. Second baseman Dusty Coleman collected 3 hits, including a double, and drove in 2 runs, while first baseman Max Muncy had 2 hits and drove in a pair of runs for the RockHounds.

Starter Josh Bowman had a shaky outing for Stockton, allowing 6 runs on 7 hits over 5 1/3 innings to take his 6th loss on Sunday. Second baseman Antonio Lamas hit a 2-run homer, while shortstop Addison Russell slugged a solo shot for the Ports.

Shortstop Daniel Robertson and first baseman Matt Olson both had big days at the plate on Sunday, with each belting a pair of home runs and driving in 4 runs for the Snappers. It was feast or famine for Olson, who struck out in all 3 at-bats in which he didn’t homer. Starter Andres Avila had a rocky outing, allowing 4 runs on 7 hits over 5 innings, but still picked up his 5th win for the Snappers.

With 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th inning and the A’s down by a run, third baseman Piikea-Jiro Kitamura doubled in a pair of runs to give the A’s the walk-off win on Sunday. Starter Carlos Navas allowed 2 runs, just 1 earned, over 6 innings of work, while LHP Chris Kohler struck out 5 in 2 scoreless innings of relief.
