Starter Bruce Billings had a strong outing for Sacramento on Thursday, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits and striking out 8 over 7 1/3 innings of work. With the game tied 2-2 in the bottom of the 9th inning, outfielder Michael Choice tripled and designated hitter Michael Taylor singled him home to clinch the victory and hand the win to LHP Pedro Figueroa who’d gotten the final out in the top of the 9th. Second baseman Grant Green had a pair of hits in his return to the River Cats.

Second baseman Chris Bostick hit a 3-run homer, while shortstop Daniel Robertson doubled in a pair of runs for the Snappers.
