Starter Arnold Leon had a rocky outing for the River Cats, allowing 4 runs over 5 innings of work, while LHP Pedro Figueroa gave up 2 runs in 2 innings of relief to take his 3rd loss on Sunday. Outfielder Michael Taylor hit a 3-run homer in the 1st inning to give Sacramento the lead, while designated hitter Stephen Vogt homered and drove in a pair of runs for the River Cats.

A’s top draft pick Billy McKinney had a pair of hits to raise his batting average to .323.
