LHP Andrew Werner allowed 4 runs, 2 earned, on 8 hits and struck out 6 over 5 innings to pick up his 6th win, while RHP Dan Otero got the final 3 outs for his 15th save. Third baseman Scott Moore homered and drove in 3 runs, while outfielder Shane Peterson had 2 hits, including a double, and drove in a pair of runs for the River Cats.

Starter Carlos Hernandez had a strong outing for the RockHounds on Wednesday, allowing just 1 run on 5 hits to earn his 3rd win. Outfielder Conner Crumbliss collected 3 hits and scored twice, while first baseman Jake Goebbert doubled, tripled and drove in a pair of runs for the RockHounds.

Starter Drew Granier allowed 4 runs while striking out 7 over 7 innings and left with the game tied. And it remained tied until LHP Jake Brown gave up a 3-run homer with 1 out in the bottom of the 11th inning to take the loss. First baseman Max Muncy had a big night at the plate, collecting 4 hits, including his 16th home run, for the Ports.

  1. Aliotti and Muncy don’t seem like they have anything left to prove at their respective levels. Is Barton keeping them from moving up?
