LHP Andrew Werner allowed 4 runs, 2 earned, on 8 hits and struck out 6 over 5 innings to pick up his 6^th win, while RHP Dan Otero got the final 3 outs for his 15^th save. Third baseman Scott Moore homered and drove in 3 runs, while outfielder Shane Peterson had 2 hits, including a double, and drove in a pair of runs for the River Cats.

Starter Carlos Hernandez had a strong outing for the RockHounds on Wednesday, allowing just 1 run on 5 hits to earn his 3^rd win. Outfielder Conner Crumbliss collected 3 hits and scored twice, while first baseman Jake Goebbert doubled, tripled and drove in a pair of runs for the RockHounds.

Starter Drew Granier allowed 4 runs while striking out 7 over 7 innings and left with the game tied. And it remained tied until LHP Jake Brown gave up a 3-run homer with 1 out in the bottom of the 11^th inning to take the loss. First baseman Max Muncy had a big night at the plate, collecting 4 hits, including his 16^th home run, for the Ports.
