Starter Josh Bowman, in his first outing since being demoted from Midland, allowed 6 runs on 9 hits over just 2 1/3 innings of work, while LHP Jake Brown tossed 4 scoreless innings, and Kirkland’s fellow infielder, Tony Thompson, struck out 3 in 2 scoreless innings of relief.
