Worth Noting: Outfielder Shane Peterson had a big night at the plate, collecting 4 hits, including a home run and a double, and driving in 3 runs, including the go-ahead run in the top of the 8th inning. Outfielder Michael Taylor homered as well and drove in 4 runs. Left-hander Brett Anderson made his second rehab start, his first with Sacramento, and allowed 4 runs on 7 hits over 4 innings of work.

Worth Noting: Starter Murphy Smith allowed 3 runs, 2 earned, over 6 innings to take his 7th loss, while infielder Josh Horton had 2 of the RockHounds’ 5 hits on the night.

Worth Noting: Catcher Max Stassi continued his hot hitting of late, blasting his 13th home run and driving in 4 runs on Thursday. First baseman Tony Thompson doubled and drove in 3 runs, while outfielder Myrio Richard doubled and drove in 2 for the Ports. Starter Blake Hassebrock had one of his better outings since returning from the disabled list, allowing 3 runs, 2 earned, on 3 hits while striking out 4 over 5 innings to earn just his 2nd win on the season.

Worth Noting: Starter Chris Lamb had one of his best outings for Burlington, allowing just 1 run and striking out 5 over 4 2/3 innings of work, while right-hander Jose Macias picked up the win with 2 1/3 scoreless innings in relief. Shortstop Sean Jamieson collected 3 hits and drove in a run in the win.

Worth Noting: Outfielder John Wooten launched a 3-run homer in the 6th-inning to briefly give Vermont the lead, while catcher Reynaldo Mateo, in his first game with Vermont, homered, doubled and drove in 2 runs. Starter Andres Avila allowed 2 runs in 3 innings of work, while right-hander Drew Gagnier took the loss after giving up the go-ahead run in the 8th inning.

Worth Noting: 1st-round draft pick Addison Russell hit his 5th home run, while the A’s 3rd overall pick, first baseman Matt Olson, hit his 4th. Starter Michael Ynoa had his best outing so far this season, giving up just 2 hits in 3 scoreless innings, while right-hander Gregory Paulino allowed 2 runs and struck out 5 over 5 innings to pick up his 3rd win.
