Worth Noting: Starter Bruce Billings had a rough outing, allowing 6 runs on 7 hits over just 1 1/3 innings to take his 4th loss. First baseman Daric Barton, serving as the designated hitter for the day, hit a 3-run homer, shortstop Adam Rosales doubled and drove in 3 runs, and third baseman Stephen Parker doubled and drove in a run in the loss.

Worth Noting: Starter Carlos Hernandez had a solid outing, allowing just 2 runs while striking out 4 over 6 innings to earn his 4th win on Tuesday. Shortstop Dusty Coleman had 3 hits, including his 10th home run, and drove in 2 runs, while third baseman Miles Head doubled in 3 runs in the win.
