Worth Noting: Starter Tyson Ross threw 80 pitches in just 3 innings of work, allowing 3 runs, 2 earned, while walking 6 and striking out 5 to take the loss. Grant Green, taking a turn at third base on Thursday, collected 2 hits and drove in a run.

Worth Noting: Infielder Josh Horton had 3 hits and drove in 3 runs, second baseman Tyler Ladendorf also had 3 hits, including a double, and scored 3 times, while outfielder Michael Choice and third baseman Miles Head both had a pair of hits and drove in a run, and first baseman Anthony Aliotti doubled in the go-ahead run in the 8th inning. Starter Murphy Smith allowed 4 runs over 5 innings, while right-hander Jose Guzman picked up the win with 2 scoreless innings in relief.

Worth Noting: Starter Raul Alcantara had a solid outing, allowing just 1 run on 4 hits over 6 innings of work, but right-hander Seth Frankoff came on to take the loss after allowing 2 runs in 2 innings of relief. Catcher Nick Rickles and outfielder Rashun Dixon both homered in the loss.

Third baseman Renato Nunez collected 3 doubles, while first baseman Matt Olson doubled and drove in 3 runs in the win.
