Worth Noting: Starter Gary Daley had a rough outing, allowing 9 runs, 5 earned, on 8 hits over 4 1/3 innings to take his 8th loss. Outfielder Michael Choice had 2 hits, including a triple, and drove in a run, while first baseman Michael Spina and shortstop Dusty Coleman both doubled in a run in the loss.

Worth Noting: Right-hander Blake Hassebrock had one of his better outings since returning from the disabled list, striking out 5 in 3 2/3 scoreless innings. Shortstop Michael Gilmartin doubled in the go-ahead run for the Ports in the top of the 6th inning, but left-hander Jeff Urlaub gave up 5 runs in the bottom of the 7th to take the loss.

Worth Noting: Starter Drew Granier delivered another impressive outing for Burlington, allowing just 2 hits while striking out 11 over 7 2/3 innings to earn his 10th win. Catcher John Nester collected 3 hits, including a homer and a double, and drove in 2 runs in the win.

Worth Noting: Outfielder John Wooten doubled in the game-winning run in the bottom of the 8th inning for Vermont on Monday. Starter Julio Ramos tossed 3 scoreless innings, allowing just 1 baserunner on a walk, while right-hander Ryan Dull picked up his 2nd win with 1 scoreless inning in relief.
