Worth Noting: Starter Brad Peacock had another rocky outing, allowing 5 runs and departing after 5 innings. Shortstop Adam Rosales hit a 2-run homer to tie the game in the 6th inning, but right-hander Travis Banwart gave up 3 runs in 2 1/3 innings of relief to take the loss.

Worth Noting: Starter Carlos Hernandez had another solid outing for Midland, striking out 4 over 5 1/3 scoreless innings. First baseman Anthony Aliotti had 3 hits, including a double, and drove in outfielder Conner Crumbliss, who had doubled, for the RockHounds’ only run, but right-hander Shawn Haviland gave up a run in 2 innings of relief to take the loss in the 11th inning.

Worth Noting: Josh Whitaker, getting the start at first base, continued his hot hitting, collecting 2 doubles and driving in 3 runs for the Ports on Sunday. Starter Jacob Brown had a rough outing, allowing 8 runs, 5 earned, on 11 hits over 4 1/3 innings of work. Outfielder Mitch LeVier hit a 3-run homer to tie the game in the 6th inning, but right-hander T.J. Walz gave up a run in 2 1/3 innings of relief to take the loss.
