Worth Noting: Catcher Anthony Recker delivered a game-winning grand slam in the top of the 16th inning for Sacramento on Saturday. Starter Bruce Billings had a solid outing, allowing 2 runs, just 1 earned, while striking out 5 over 6 innings of work.

Worth Noting: Third baseman Miles Head doubled in the go-ahead run in the bottom of the 8th inning for the RockHounds on Saturday. Tyler Ladendorf, getting his 3rd start in center field, singled in 2 runs in the 6th, and outfielder Conner Crumbliss had 2 hits, including a double, and scored twice. Starter Sonny Gray allowed 2 runs while walking 5 and striking out 3 in 5 innings, while right-hander Brett Hunter tossed 2 1/3 innings of scoreless relief to pick up the win.

Worth Noting: Outfielder Dusty Robinson clubbed his 11th home run for Stockton, while second baseman Ryan Pineda contributed 2 hits, including a double, and drove in a run. Starter Sean Murphy had his roughest outing for the Ports, allowing 7 runs over 4 2/3 innings to take his 3rd loss.

Worth Noting: Catcher Nick Rickles doubled in outfielder Rashun Dixon, who had previously doubled, for Burlington’s only run on Saturday. Starter Tanner Peters allowed 2 runs over 3 innings to take his 2nd loss. Right-hander Seth Frankoff came on to strike out 3 in 4 innings of scoreless relief to give the Bees the chance to overcome a slim 1-run deficit, but Burlington’s lineup couldn’t push another run across the plate the rest of the way.

Worth Noting: Infielder Chris Bostick hit a walk-off 2-run homer in the bottom of the 10th inning to give Vermont the victory on Saturday. Starter J.C. Menna allowed 2 runs and struck out 4 in 6 innings of work, while this year’s 8th-round draft pick Kris Hall struck out 5 in 2 innings of scoreless relief, and right-hander Tucker Healy picked up the win with another pair of scoreless innings in relief.

Starter Kayvon Bahramzadeh tossed 3 scoreless innings, but right-hander Lee Sosa gave up 4 runs, 3 earned, in the bottom of the 8th inning to take his 2nd loss.
