Worth Noting: Starter Dan Straily delivered another impressive performance on Friday, striking out 7 over 7 shutout innings to earn his 3rd win for Sacramento. Infielder Adam Rosales doubled and drove in 3 runs, and outfielder Michael Taylor doubled, homered and drove in 2 for the River Cats.

Worth Noting: Outfielder Michael Choice singled in the winning run in the bottom of the 11th inning forMidland on Friday, but it was outfielder Jeremy Barfield who put the RockHounds in the position to win by driving in all 3 of the team’s other runs in the game. Starter Murphy Smith turned in a solid outing, allowing just 2 runs in 7 2/3 innings of work.

Worth Noting: Stockton bested Bakersfield in a 15-inning battle on Friday. Starter Josh Bowman turned in an impressive outing, allowing just 1 run while striking out 11 over 7 innings and left the game with the lead. With the game tied late in the evening, third baseman B.A. Vollmuth and outfielders Dusty Robinson and Josh Whitaker all launched homers in the top of the 15th inning to help Stockton pull out the win.
