Worth Noting: Starter Dan Straily turned in another impressive performance, allowing just 1 run and striking out 10 over 6 innings to win his 2^nd game since joining the River Cats. Third baseman Josh Donaldson blasted a grand slam in the 2^nd inning, and designated hitter Kila Ka’aihue and second baseman Eric Sogard also contributed homers in the win.

Worth Noting: After a few shaky outings, starter Murphy Smith got back on track on Sunday, allowing just 1 run over 6 2/3 innings to earn his 5^th win. First baseman Anthony Aliotti collected 3 hits, including 2 doubles, and drove in 2 runs. Outfielder Michael Choice hit his 7^th home run, and third baseman Miles Head hit his 1^st for the Rock Hounds.

Worth Noting: Starter Josh Bowman allowed 5 runs on 8 hits over 6 innings on Sunday to take his 7^th loss. Catcher Beau Taylor, serving as the designated hitter for the day, homered, doubled and drove in all 3 of the Ports’ runs in the loss.

Worth Noting: Shortstop Sean Jamieson had 3 hits, including a double and a triple, and drove in 2 runs. Outfielder Rashun Dixon and first baseman Max Muncy both doubled and drove in a run. But starter Raul Alcantara had a rough outing, allowing 10 runs, 7 earned, in just 4 innings to take his 8^th loss.
