Worth Noting: Starter Travis Banwart had his second straight solid outing, striking out 8 over 7 scoreless innings on Friday. The game was tied 0-0 heading into the bottom of the 10th inning when second baseman Eric Sogard got his first hit of the night to drive in shortstop Adam Rosales for the winning run.

Worth Noting: Midland’s offensive woes continued on Friday when infielder Tyler Ladendorf scored the RockHounds’ only 2 runs of the game. Starter Gary Daley allowed 6 runs, 4 earned, over 4 1/3 innings to take his 6th loss.

Worth Noting: Starter Blake Hassebrock, still working his way back from an oblique injury, allowed 6 runs on 8 hits over just 1 2/3 innings to earn his 2nd loss. Catcher Max Stassi had a pair of hits and drove in the Ports’ only run in the bottom of the 9th inning.

Worth Noting: The Bees scored their only run of the night when outfielder Bobby Crocker drove in outfielder Rashun Dixon in the top of the 9th inning. Starter Drew Granier had a rough outing, allowing 7 runs on 10 hits in just 3 2/3 innings to take his 4th loss.

Worth Noting: Starter Chris Lamb had his third consecutive solid outing, allowing just 1 run and walking none over 6 innings to earn his 2nd win. This year’s 8th-round draft pick, right-hander Kris Hall, struck out 4 batters in 2 scoreless innings in relief.

Worth Noting: The Arizona League A’s continued their offensive dominance on Friday night, putting up 12 runs against the Brewers. Shortstop Addison Russell homered, tripled and scored 3 times, first baseman Matt Olson hit his 3rd home run, third baseman Daniel Robertson hit his 1st, and outfielder B.J. Boyd had 3 hits and stole 5 bases in the game.
