Worth Noting: Catcher Anthony Recker broke up a 1-1 tie with a walk-off homer in the bottom of the 12th inning to give Sacramento the win over Fresno on Friday night. Starter Bruce Billings allowed just 1 run and struck out 6 over 6 innings of work, while right-hander Danny Farquhar picked up his 1st win with 2 innings of scoreless relief.

    Not much to vote on today…you could make the case that Billings or Perlman were the players of the day; and they’re not even in the poll.

    How about Bruce Maxwell down in the AZL? 4-4 with 2 doubles and 2 walks yesterday; looks like he’s poised to continue compiling statistics that belong in Triple Play 2000.
