Worth Noting: Starter A.J. Griffin had another solid outing for Sacramento, allowing 2 runs over 6 innings to earn his 3rd win with the River Cats. Infielder Brandon Hicks hit his 4th home run in the last 5 games and Kila Ka’aihue, playing left field in his first game with the River Cats, homered as well. Designated hitter Chris Carter collected 3 hits in the win.

Worth Noting: The RockHounds had a rough night in the field, committing a total of 6 errors. Starter Gary Daley allowed 5 runs, only 1 of them earned, and struck out 7 over 5 2/3 innings to run his record to 7-4. Outfielder Michael Choice singled in the RockHounds’ only run in the bottom of the 1st inning.

The right-hander allowed 5 runs, 2 earned, in just 2/3 of an inning to take the loss. Bees right-hander Seth Frankoff pitched 2/3 of an inning of scoreless relief, and Burlington shortstop Sean Jamieson went 0 for 1 in the All-Star blowout.
