Worth Noting: Shortstop Dusty Coleman blasted a grand slam in the top of the 7th inning to help give the RockHounds a lead they would never relinquish. Starter Shawn Haviland had his second straight solid outing, allowing just 1 run on 3 hits over 6 innings to earn his 4th win.

Worth Noting: Starter Josh Bowman allowed 3 runs over 7 innings of work, but the Ports could only manage to push 2 runs across the plate on Wednesday. Catcher Max Stassi doubled and scored in the 2nd inning to give the Ports the lead, and third baseman Miles Head singled in outfielder Chad Oberacker in the 5th for the Ports’ only other run.

Worth Noting: Starter Drew Granier turned in another impressive performance for Burlingtonon Wednesday, tossing 7 shutout innings to earn his team-leading 8th win. First baseman Douglas Landaeta had 2 hits, including a home run in the 3rd inning, and infielder Ryan Pineda collected 3 hits, including a double and triple, and also drove in a run in the win.
