Getting To Know: The A’s 2012 Top 10 Draft Picks

Yesterday, we gave you the lowdown on the A’s top 3 picks selected on Day 1 of the draft. Now that Day 2 is complete we wanted to take the chance to run down the A’s top 10 picks of the 2012 amateur player draft. The team evenly divided its top 10 picks by selecting 5 high school players and 5 college players, while selecting 6 hitters and 4 pitchers. We’ll be learning more about all of them in the coming days and will hopefully have the chance to see some of them playing for the Vermont Lake Monsters in the short-season New York-Penn League before the month is through.
