Neil Wagner gave up 2 runs in 1 inning, Rich Thompson yielded 4 runs in 1 1/3 innings, and Trey Barham allowed 6 runs in 1 2/3 innings. Outfielder Brandon Moss hit his team-leading 11th home run in the 4th inning to give the River Cats the lead. Manny Ramirez went 1 for 4 and is now 5 for 20 in his 6 games with the Cats.

Starter Seth Frankoff allowed 7 runs over just 2 innings of work to earn the loss. Left-hander Chas Mye came on to throw 4 scoreless innings in relief, but the Bees couldn’t overcome the deficit.
