Worth Noting: Starter Bruce Billings had another solid outing for the River Cats on Tuesday, allowing 2 runs over 6 innings to earn his 3rd win. Outfielder Grant Green had 2 hits and drove in 3 runs, and shortstop Adam Rosales drove in 3 as well.

Worth Noting: First baseman Anthony Aliotti hit a 2-run homer, outfielder Michael Choice hit a solo shot, his 3rd home run of the season, and outfielder Jeremy Barfield continued his hot-hitting, going 3 for 3 to raise his average to .320. Starter Shawn Haviland tossed 3 scoreless innings before giving way to left-hander Carlos Hernandez, who gave up 5 runs in 2 innings to take the loss.

Starter Jacob Brown had a solid outing, allowing just 1 run and striking out 8 over 5 innings of work. Infielder Miles Head and outfielder Myrio Richard collected 2 hits apiece in the loss.

Kirby-Jones homered for Stockton’s only run, and starter Ian Krol allowed 5 runs, only 1 of which was earned, over 4 innings to run his record to 0-3.
