Worth Noting: 33rd-round draft pick Sean Murphy had probably the best outing of any A’s farmhand so far this season, allowing no runs and no walks and striking out 13 over 7 innings for his 2nd win, right-hander Ryan Doolittle tossed the final 2 innings for his 2nd save, and first baseman Doug Landaeta had 3 of Burlington’s 4 hits, homered, and drove in all 3 of the Bees’ runs.
